This is a project on the table, I could not find the appropriate arrangements with ATMEGA16, 16x2 LCD, bias circuits, and ... Scheme is preferred in Protel DXP.

AVR063 App Note LCD displays temperature and STK500 adapter (daughter) board and is to link the firmware.
STK500 (and other) plans through the help files available Studio4 Atmel. From the inside Studio4 then click Help Guide AVT Click Tools users. From the pop-Help screen on the left to find the regime of keywords and a list to choose from.
The models are in PDF format
I included a link to Studio4 development of free software you need, if not already installed on your PC.
